Questions & Answers

Where are you located?

Rachel Kaye is from Grand Haven, MI but available for travel worldwide!

What all is included in your wedding packages?

I create custom wedding packages to fit your needs but ALL packages include digital files delivered via a web-gallery link, the rights to print them and the amazing service that comes along with working with me!

How long have you been shooting weddings?

It's been just over 8 years photographing weddings professionally! I picked up a camera after grad school and never stopped. I realized rather quickly that I LOVE photographing love stories and weddings more than any other type of photography! I have photographed over 300 weddings.

do you work alone or with someone else?

All of my packages include me as the photographer. YOU CAN ALWAYS add on a second photographer, but I don't generally think you need it. We chat to go over everything and make sure you only get what you need

What is your advice for planning a wedding day?

SO MANY THINGS. But mainly if you can, go a year before your wedding to the venue and check out the light at the time you want your ceremony to be. Plan around light for your ceremony so someone isn't standing in the blinding sun! ALSO please do what you want with your day, if you are not happy with your plans you will not look happy in your photos! OH and last but not least if you hire a videographer please let your photographer know about it. We love working with friends but like to have a plan!
